Production Technician (2nd or 3rd shift)

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a client in the medical equipment manufacturing industry that is looking to hire a Production Technician! This position is CTH after 90 days and has 2nd and 3rd shift openings. This opportunity comes with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow from a 24/7 production environment into a higher position, great benefits including 401K and PTO once converted.
Responsibilities:

Sets up and operates BFS machines and support equipment to produce bottled sterile solutions.

Sets up and operates BFS machines to produce bottled sterile solutions. Ensures that machines are working properly.

Start-up of purified water system and maintain operation.

Compound solutions per SOP’s and prescribed formulations.

Knows and understands “standards” for products.

Follows written operating procedures.

Maintains proper Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and Workplace Contamination Rules compliance.

Recurring physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools, frequently lifting up-to 30 pounds, occasionally lift up-to 50 pounds and on rare occasion lift up-to 100 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with mechanical systems
- Automotive repair or Filling operations or Blow molding or Experience setting up and operating BFS (Blow-fill seal) machines
- Experience reading blueprints
- Able to follow written procedures and document results
- Physical demands- sitting, standing, walking, crouching, using tools
- Frequently able to lift up to 100 lbs (mainly 30-50 lbs)
